Basic Principle :
Cryogenic air separation technology is used in the making of O2 gas plant. The technology works by taking in air from the atmosphere which is then liquefied and separated into constituent gases –oxygen and nitrogen. Subsequently, the air is distilled in the lower air separation column for meeting commercial purity requirements. The process is known for high level of efficiency and is able to achieve oxygen purity up to 99.7%, which is excellent for both medical and industrial applications.

Scope & Supply of Oxygen Gas Plant System
Air Compressor : It is considered as the most important component of the O2 plant. We use the rotary type air compressor from Atlas Copco. It is air cooled and consumes very less amount of water.
Pre-Cooling System : High quality pre-cooling system is used which is skid mounted or floor mounted and comes fitted with all the interconnected piping.
Purification Unit Process : It is skid mounted and comes completely ready for installation. We use high quality purification units which are manufactured with the latest technique and ASME quality materials. The machinery is known for its super efficiency and delivery.
Air Separation Column : BDM uses a precision-driven state of the art air separation column for reliable and quality performance. It is leak-proof and is made with the cryogenic grade stainless steel which has the intrinsic power to withstand extreme high and low temperature and pressure. It is fabricated with argon welding.
Cryogenic Expander : This component is another very important part of the cryogenic technology. It is fitted with a single cylinder expander hydraulically operated with automatic control of temperature and pressure. It comes fitted with a ball type of valve at inlet and outlet in order to ensure smooth working. The expander is also provided with a booster for increasing the adiabatic cooling efficiency by recycling the thermodynamics of the cryogenic expander.
Liquid Oxygen Pump : It is made with stainless and is oil-free. The liquid pump gathers liquid oxygen from the condenser of the column which is then compressed up to a pressure of 150 bar. Liquid oxygen passes through an internal gas vaporizer inside the cold box-column automatically converting liquid oxygen into high pressure oxygen gas for filling in cylinders or pipeline supply.
